Day out to Papamoa and Omanu Beach April 2013

Got the family organised and off we set to Papamoa, a totally gorgeous day it was too, the sun shining down a warm breeze, well it was until we hit Omanu beach, each time the sun went in it got rather chilly.

Spent about 2 hours at Bayfair Shopping Mall.  I think they need to make their food court sitting area a bit larger.

After this we journey home with the much needed ice cream and loud music.  Had an awesome day.

Our day out at Hamurana Springs Autumn 2013

Well here are my first lot of photos of the Hamurana Springs Walk.  We have decided to go again and take a picnic.  It is a fantastic place and we wish we had all been there sooner.  Enjoy the photos.

The walk took us over a bridge and through the Redwood Walk all the way to Spring.  Back over another bridge and back down towards the carpark.  It was beautiful.

It was a lovely day out that the whole family enjoyed.  Hamurana is not far from Rotorua.  It is the far side of Ngongotaha village.  Once back in the city we of course ended our day with ice cream.
